Grinch Loaf Cake ❤️💚 with a little surprise inside lifeandsprinkles and I are always twinning and when we realized we both had the same Grinch sweater, decided we might as well both make a grinch themed dessert to go with it! 😂 You’ll Need: 2 boxes pound cake mix 1 1/3 cup milk 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted 4 eggs red and green food coloring Green frosting Green jimmies Place the cake mix, milk, melted butter, and eggs into a large mixing bowl. Beat until fully combined. Divide the batter in half, coloring one bowl green and the other bowl red. Pour the red cake batter into a lined baking pan and bake at 350F for about 35 minutes, or until fully cooked. Allow the cake to cool. Cut hearts out of the red cake layer and place into a loaf pan. The hearts should extend from one side of the pan to the other (lengthwise). Pour the green cake batter around the hearts and bake in the oven for about 35 minutes or until fully cooked.
