Today, on Earth Day, the @byuesci planted a Rocky Mountain Bristlecone Pine on campus (abiding by excellent physical distancing principles while doing so). . It's #BYUGrad week. And it's a unique time, in unique circumstances. While we take time to revisit the past and look forward to the future, we're reminded of Elder Ballard's words to us in his devotional on campus last month, regarding the important stewardship we have as a BYU community, members of the church and inhabitants of this planet: . “A second thing I see about your generations is your commitment to a more sustainable future for all of God’s children and creatures and the earth. Whether it is environmental, economic, or social, I would hope you will continue to find creative solutions to help protect the future for all of God’s children in our world.
