This week we had the incredible opportunity to hear from Bryan Stevenson, founder and executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative and bestselling author of Just Mercy. He spoke on creating justice and how we can individually help make the world a better place. “Our power is waiting for us, if we get proximate,” Stevenson said. “We have to get closer to those places [where people are suffering] if we’re going to change to world.” Just like Stevenson counseled, we should follow the example of our Savior in lifting and reaching out to those around us, even if it make us uncomfortable.
