Introducing the Zen Den 😌 We’re continuing to expand our comittment to student’s mental health with the introduction of this space. This specific space was transformed by Donna Scro Samori, a wellness coordinator for the Department of Theatre and Dance. She took a small office in Life Hall and created a new mediation space, complete with aromatherapy, dim lighting and calming music to help students recharge between classes. The Zen Den, along with the Sensory Space, are part of the University’s comprehensive mental heath approached, which ranges from counseling to pet therspy to reduce stigma and promote mental health awareness. #montclairstateuniversity #newjersey #zenden #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters
