In 2019, Edith and Sébastien Pelletier’s lives were overturned: three of their four young children were diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a rare and irreversible eye disorder that usually leads to blindness. The disease affects approximately one in 4,000 people in the U.S. and is the leading cause of visual disability in those under 60. In response, the Pelletiers embarked on a global journey to create lasting visual memories for their children before the condition progressed.
