Amanda Compton was hunting blacktails with a friend on Alaska's Admiralty Island Sunday when she was mauled by a brown bear and bitten on the head. According to Compton, the bear was on her in seconds. She had just enough time to drop down and curl into a ball. Thankfully, the bear quickly released her, and Compton walked away from the attack with a small piece of bear tooth embedded in her skull. Tap the link in profile for the full story 🔗 #alaska #brownbear #brownbears #bear #bears #bearhunting #hunting #huntingseason #outdoors #nature #outdoorlife 📷: USFWS Story by: dac.collins
