Pt. 1: On Thursday, we had to say goodbye to my best friend Lily. She’s been with me before I started making music and got me through so much. I dedicated my last two shows to her with a little tribute on screen. She was the most gentle, affectionate, and loving cat. It breaks my heart to have to say goodbye to such a gentle soul. She came to us in 2013 from the woods and we took her in. She made us so happy for so many years! Three ish years ago she was diagnosed with cancer (F cancer). They said she would live about three months. She ended up staying with us another 3+ years. I think her loving us kept her going. She had such a strong will to live her happy life. I wish you could all have met her. She would jump on anybody’s lap and start snuggling. I can’t believe I won’t be able to snuggle with her again, but the last few months have been a rollercoaster and ultimately it was her time. I would never want her to suffer. I hope her spirit lives on through me. I’ll miss you every day...
