Teens have a lot to say, and NCADA’s youth leadership programs provide them with an outlet and an opportunity for them to use their voices and energy as a force for positive change. Like everything else, these programs have had to adapt to our changing social landscape. Last Tuesday, NCADA’s youth-led Elevate coalition brought together 10 teens from across the St Louis region to discuss their current concerns about issues surrounding substance misuse that face teenagers today, and how they can use their voices in a positive and tangible way.
