Our friends at RMHC are celebrating 50 years! 🥳 They’ve strengthened and supported millions of families around the globe to help ensure the best health outcomes for their children. Since the first Ronald McDonald House opened in Philadelphia, RMHC has expanded to 385+ Houses and 1,000+ programs worldwide. But how did this all come to be? 💭 It all started when Fred and Fran Hill were faced with a medical crisis as their daughter Kim battled Leukemia. This personal journey inspired them to help families like theirs. With fundraising efforts from McDonald’s Franchisees and Philadelphia’s professional football team, history was made, and the first house was opened on October 15, 1974. #RMHC50
