Aouki Patrick Odongo grew up in one of the most economically impoverished areas in Kenya—and the world. And he saw how unreliable access to food, water and a stable home created obstacles for kids like him. Now director of Students for Education, Empowerment and Development (SEED), Odongo is helping transform life for young people in marginalized communities: He established the first SEED School on his home turf of Kibera, aiming to provide primary school education for 70 children annually. Through the Hours for Impact program, Odongo and his team members are pledging their time to support U.N. Sustainable Development Goals 10, to reduce inequality, and 4, to help ensure quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. “We have reached the unreached within our communities within the marginalized areas and the slums of Nairobi,” he says. Head to our profile to get the full story. 📷: SEED Kenya #PMImpact #GlobalGoals unitednations #SustainableDevelopmentGoal...
