Fourth graders in Mrs. Garduño’s class made encouragement cards for the SMFHS varsity boys soccer team last month before they played Hoban! Captains Alex, Mateo, Evan, and center-back Michael delivered responses from all the varsity players. The players even joined the students in a rousing game of SPUD as they practiced their math fact fluency. The 4th graders were very impressed that these four high schoolers have scored 23 of the team’s goals this regular season!
