We recently had the pleasure of hosting two local groups for tours of our factory. One was a group of students from Berkeley High School’s Career Technical Education (CTE) program, and the other was a group from theuctheatre’s Concert Career Pathways (CCP) program. CCP aims to make the music industry accessible for underserved communities by providing a free nine-month experiential workforce development program to youths ages 17-25. They provide access to tours, workshops, internships, and networking opportunities to a diverse group of young people. The CTE program seeks to add vocational skills and hands-on training to the traditional academic education.
