Inspiring the next generation of police officers. 💙⁣ ⁣ Baw Baw police officers recently partnered with Baw Baw Latrobe LLEN to run the Girls in Blue Program for the third consecutive year.⁣ ⁣ The initiative allows Year 9-12 female students who are interested in policing the opportunity to chat with police officers and learn more about the different career pathways at Victoria Police.⁣ ⁣ Thirty students from local high schools participated, starting the day off with a tour of Moe and Warragul Police Stations before sitting down with the officers.⁣ ⁣ Senior Constable Courtney Ekenberg, who helped organise the program, knows the importance of the initiative as someone who wanted to become a police officer from age 15.⁣ ⁣ "The program is a fantastic initiative to be a part of and welcome the next generation into Victoria Police."⁣ ⁣ #PoliceCareers #Careers #SchoolLeavers #Graduation
