Remember this 🍂 My favorite changed I’ve noticed since becoming a parent is the way I’ve become more patient. I used to need to tackle a trail and rush to the top of any mountain. I had a fast paced journalism career and the demanding deadlines made rushing through every part of the day feel normal, even if it was supposed to be for fun. When I was pregnant one of my biggest fears about becoming a mom was that my lack of patience would harm my child but I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to be patient with my Teddy. Don’t get me wrong, I start to feel 😵‍💫 when I’ve asked him to put on his shoes three times and he simply will not 😆. But I appreciate the slow pace and the new perspective I get to have when I remember this is all so new to him 🍂🥹 I hope he always takes his time. #hiking #hikingwithkids #familytime #boymom
