Don’t be a “Dabbler” In your career as well as your relationships, don’t be a dabbler. Dabblers put off disciplines that they know they should be doing. They may hope for the best, but they don’t make things the best that they could be. Dabblers often keep a mental door open just in case “this doesn’t work out.” Dabblers don’t listen to that person in the back of their head that is saying “wake up earlier, make the calls, do the work.” Burn. Your. Bridges. Eliminate Plan B. My experience with the countless highly-effective people I have coached - People that are All In, commit to daily and weekly schedules NO MATTER HOW THEY FEEL. As Jim Rohn famously said “We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.” So.
