#WhyIRelayWednesday 💜🎗️ “Hello everyone! My name is Aislynn Macco and I relay for my mom, Theresa Macco. My mom was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer in 2014. She made a promise that day that she was going to fight for me and my family. She went on to battle for 9 years before passing away in March of 2023. Theresa Macco was a mom, daughter, wife, friend, and so much more to so many people. She was a nurse for over 30 years working in the intensive care cardiac unit helping to save lives every day. She truly gave her life to take care of others and show what it means to be a thoughtful, caring person. She was the strongest and most inspirational person I’ve ever met. I am so lucky to have such a powerful role model as my mom was. With that being said, Relay for Life is a beautiful organization to raise money and fight for those in their battle and remember those we have lost.
