Dallas County Attorney Jeannine Ritchie won't file criminal charges in the Jan. 4 shootings at Perry High School that left a student, the school's principal and the shooter dead.
Ritchie released a report on the shooting Thursday that indicated no charges would be filed.
Armed with a shotgun and a small-caliber handgun, 17-year-old Dylan Butler shot and killed sixth-grader Ahmir Jolliff, 11; fatally wounded Principal Dan Marburger, 56, who died 10 days later; and wounded five other students and two other school staff members before taking his own life.
Ritchie said that Butler "acted alone in planning and carrying out the events" of Jan. 4.
