Fans of breaded pork tenderloins can head to northwestern Iowa to find the sandwich deemed the best in the state by the iowapork Producers Association. Dairy Sweet, located in Dunlap, earned the title in the 2024 contest. This marks the second time Dairy Sweet, owned by Lori and Greg Thomsen, won the contest. Lori Thomsen’s parents owned the restaurant in 2005 when it won the contest. The Thomsens purchased the restaurant in 2013 and moved it to Main Street in Dunlap.
