While we were ushering our Power students back to school, we also continued to expand access to clean water with a slew of new deep-water wells, for example, this one in the community of Senenje in Malawi! Constructed at the site of a primary school, this new well will provide clean water to over 400 students and residents in the area. Before this, students had to rely on a shallow, contaminated open well—often leading to sickness and missed school days, affecting their ability to learn and succeed. Now with reliable access to clean water, the future looks bright, and so do the smiles of the students! These children can focus on their education without the constant fear of getting sick, and the entire community benefits from improved health and well-being.
