Last week, US Open Cup qualifying played host to kensingtonsoccerclub vs vidas_unitedfc, and with two longtime Icarus partners competing, it felt like Lamar Hunt had kicked down our office door and asked us to pick a favorite child. Fittingly, the match was one for the neutrals: a 7-goal thriller with 6 scored in the second half, including a valiant Vidas comeback. Kensington came out 4-3 winners on the day, prompting raucous celebrations from KSC youth coaches Diego and Ivan in Icarus HQ.
