Here are some more images from our first House Games Day of this academic year, as students competed in touch football, a soccer shootout, handball, four square, Wii golf and a classroom-vs.-classroom jumbo-sized version of Battleship that played out on whiteboards with balloon-decked ships placed on a grid on the floor.
All students are members of one of six houses named after prominent Jesuits — Arrupe, Campion, Gonzaga, Jogues, Loyola and Xavier — and the competition, brotherhood and camaraderie of the pioneering CHS House System carry through their four years.
The House System builds an additional infrastructure of smaller communities within our larger school community.
