Residents of Maggie Valley, NC had seen this bull elk before, but this time it had a swing stuck on its antlers. The news from the wildlife management office wasn't good -- they would have to sedate it, which could kill it. #elk #rescue The couple took matters into their own hands, luring the elk to them to cut the swing off of its antlers. It took a few attempts, but they got it! Don't try this at home! Elk can be dangerous. Always call wildlife officials first if you see an animal in need of help.
