SO MUCH MORE DIFFICULT, isn't it? ➡️They will conduct tests that don't rely on communication. Babies and young children can't communicate yet and therefore can't answer the questions a "normal" audiologist asks in order to get information. ➡️They understand that this can be hard on the parents, and can offer empathy to the whole family. ➡️They can help lessen anxiety because all of their patients are children.
