POMS AND PEP: Blue Brigade performs its pom routine during the Pink Week pep rally on Thursday Oct. 10. Blue Brigade freshman Reese Clinchard said that getting to share the routine and watch the other dance performances was the highlight of the pep rally. “This week’s pep rally was so much fun,” Clinchard said. “I loved performing our Blue Brigade dance and all the other performances were so fun to watch.” While the dance is only around two minutes, it took many hours for the dance team to learn and clean the dance together. “The hardest part about perfecting a dance is learning the timing of the dance and making sure the whole team is in sync with each other,” Clinchard said. “We practice the dance often throughout the week,” Clinchard said. “We also practice in the gym to make sure our spacing is good.” Caption by Carson Duncan.
