Today we are opening the Petty archives to bring you ‘Long After Dark (Deluxe Edition)’, including 45 minutes of newly discovered music and more never-before-seen footage from the 1982-1983 era. Listen/purchase at the link in bio.
The deluxe album includes unreleased tracks, lost in the debate over the album’s original direction, including the everlybrothersofficial-inspired “Keeping Me Alive” – a French TV version is out today accompanied by a performance video from the Record Plant in 1982.
Other notable archival discoveries are a haunting version of “Never Be You”, “Don’t Make Me Walk the Line,” “One On One,” and an up-tempo version of “Ways To Be Wicked.”
