Motion is a powerful way to make photos more compelling, especially when done right. Two of the evenings I had in Scottsdale were spent on the side of the track at the local community college, watching over 7,000 total White-winged Doves fly over heading to a roost site. With all the birds flying over, it led for some really cool bird in flight photo opportunities. For this shot, I bumped my shutter speed down to 1/40th of a second to allow some blur into the wings of these doves which in this case I really like.
