We recently caught up with CWL Alum, Taylor Maldonado, who shared what his experience was like playing here in Palm Springs: “My time at the CWL was awesome. Getting the opportunity to be managed by Jim Johnson who is full of so much knowledge and experience was something that definitely helped me and my game. Aside from JJ, I got the chance to talk with multiple coaches and scouts that also carried so much baseball knowledge. Being around all these coaches and scouts is an opportunity I would never want to pass up. My favorite memory was the championship game. Looking up at the stands and seeing so many people supporting not just the game of baseball, but also men with a desire to chase their childhood dream was unforgettable.
