Today, Pi Kappa Alpha commemorates #Juneteenth.
On June 19th, 1865, the final enslaved people were freed as the news of the Emancipation Proclamation reached Texas two years after its signing. We encourage all members to use today to reflect and educate themselves on the historical importance of this day.
