In acknowledgement of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, our chapters are making tremendous efforts to become more educated, informed, and active within the mental health awareness space. ⁠ ⁠ Recently, Iota Beta’s Health & Safety Officer and Mental Health Chairman conducted certification training sessions for four members on the newly founded Garnet DOT program, dedicated to mental health preventive education. Within these sessions, members discussed crucial subjects such as Signs of Suicide (SOS), Question. Persuade. Refer.
