After moving back to LA from Europe, I got into live streaming before platforms like Facebook Live and Instagram Live existed. One of the first live streaming apps was Meerkat, which I discovered at SXSW, a festival in Austin, Texas, known for its music, tech, and film events. One of the streamers I met through the Meerkat App visited LA for a meetup. Later, while backpacking through Europe, he stopped in Budapest a local info guide publication. He messaged me, saying he saw me in the magazine. I thought he was joking. He sent me these photos.
