Today, The Fraternity mourns the loss of Pi Kappa Alpha Legend Pat Halloran (Nebraska-Omaha, Delta Chi ‘62). Pat courageously served as the Fraternity’s eighth executive director in its history from 1969-1980. He led the Fraternity during some very challenging times and is credited with rescuing ΠΚΑ from the brink of extinction and turning it into one of North America’s leading fraternal organizations.
Since his time as an active brother of Delta Chi Chapter, Pat acted as a leader within the Fraternity, serving as chapter president. Throughout his post-collegiate journey, Pat served in numerous other roles including chapter consultant and Foundation Trustee from 2000-2002. He is one of the few alumni in history to be awarded the Fraternity’s Distinguished Achievement Award, Loyalty Award and be inducted into The Order of West Range. Externally, Pat is credited as the founder of the National Order of Omega and founder of the Independent Investors Network.
