It’s not often we find an isolated incident where someone is in possession of drugs and drugs alone. Nine times out of ten, the drugs have led them into a life of crime, homelessness, mental illness, and so much more. This picture is from an arrest where the suspect was in possession of burglary tools and controlled substances. With this week being #nationalredribbonweek — the nation’s largest and longest-running drug-use prevention campaign — we pause to remind you that there is help for those plagued by this crisis. Our valley, in fact, is home to several award-winning drug rehabilitation and treatment programs. Please reach out for help.
