Friends, when I first sat down to provide an update on my campaign, I wanted to write about leadership, and about the fiscal responsibility, administration and pragmatic experience I will bring to the mayor’s office. But in light of the #ClubQ shooting, I know good leadership demands sitting with the heartbroken community, and to practice listening.
