Multiple students at International House, or I-House, have not received their out-of-state voting ballots in the mail, even though they were sent more than two weeks ago. I-House residents Sophia Hawthorne and Zealand Brown said they had not received their ballots from Texas and Minnesota, respectively. Hawthorne and Brown both approached I-House’s reception multiple times but were told that the United States Postal Service, or USPS, hadn’t delivered letters for weeks. According to Luis Escamilla, vice president of administrative services at I-House, USPS last delivered letters Oct. 8, while packages were last delivered Oct. 17.
