Check out this footage of a rare Cascade red fox! Once found throughout high-elevation areas in Washington state’s Cascades, these animals have been lost from about half their range and now only a small population remains. Cascade red foxes need snowy landscapes to survive — but climate change is melting their home away right before our eyes. We filed a petition Monday urging the USFWS to protect them under the Endangered Species Act.
