What can we do as a #community to help enhance the quality of life of wheelchair users? With support from #HKEXFoundation, 1st Step Association launched a three-year “Wheelchair Own Sweet Home” programme for wheelchair users to build a social support and engagement network. The Programme connects wheelchair users with volunteers, who provide services such as meal preparation, cleaning and home safety education with the aim of preparing them to live independently.
