Have you been to this iconic Oregon waterfall?? 💦 If not, here’s what you need to know before visiting Multnomah Falls this summer! ☺️ 🌿 Multnomah Falls is about 35 minutes outside of Portland (but this can easily get to an hour with traffic!) 🌿 The best way to visit is before or after permit hours as there will be more parking and less people! Weekdays are best! 🌿 You can walk up to the bridge for a closer look at the upper falls, or do the full 2.4 mile RT hike to the top of the falls. 🌿 Google maps takes you to the big state parking lot aka I-84 lot off exit 31. This lot requires a $2 permit that you book online in advance, but doesn’t guarantee parking. 🌿 Other parking lots don’t require permits and are first come first serve. Off of exit 35, the multnomah falls lot is the closest lot to the falls and costs $20.
