Under Canvas, a company that describes itself as “the leader in upscale, outdoor hospitality,” announced Tuesday that it will be opening a new location on the Washington side of the Columbia Gorge next year. Guests can book “upscale, safari-inspired canvas tents on elevated private decks” that come with king-size beds, gas fireplaces, and private bathrooms with showers and flush toilets.
