Portland’s first love-centric bookstore grandgesturebooks is finally opening a physical location after almost a year online. The shop, now located at 814 S.W. 10th Ave., will host its grand opening Saturday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., followed by a ribbon cutting Monday. It’s the only store of its kind in Oregon, though it’s not too far from The Romance Era Bookshop, a used bookstore in Vancouver. “I want people to be able to make friends, have a good time and figure out their own ideas of love — and all the joys and sorrows that come with it,” Katherine Morgan said.
