If you’ve seen my Stories, you know I’ve left my home in Los Angeles for only the second time since March — to try out a road trip here in California — for many reasons, but partially because when I polled you in Stories this week, you overwhelmingly replied that road trips are pretty much the only kind of travel you’d consider right now or in the immediate future. In a hotel room in a state where I’ve got to be brutally honest, the travel situation is a hot mess. . I’ve driven through areas where you’d have no clue a pandemic is still ongoing.
