Today is Jumpstart’s 19th Annual Read for the Record Day and I’m so proud to join together with over two million #readers and thousands of #classrooms #libraries & communities to celebrate early literacy! This year’s read aloud pick is the beautiful, PIPER CHEN SINGS coauthored by author phillipasoo and author marispasqualedoran and illustrated by qinillustrations ! This is my second year participating in the wonderful & impactful #literacy event & It was so much fun! Talking & reading to young children is so important and I’m so happy to read stories & help inspire kids to love reading! “Piper Chen Sings” is such a meaningful & sweet read, and a story that stays in your heart!
