Bonjour 👋🏼 from Geneva 🇨🇭 . Europe is my favorite part of the globe and there’s no such thing as a part of Europe I dislike. But the first 24 hours in Switzerland were rough for so many reasons that had nothing to do with our host nor could they have been prevented. So I was having a hard time adjusting and enjoying the trip UNTIL... we turned a corner, emerged from under a bridge and this scene with its ducks and swans, the pretty boat and a view of Jet d'Eau plus a break in the rain that hadn’t stopped since we arrived - made me finally swoon. It just seemed too picture perfect. . Later we’d get on that boat to have a lovely experience with Geneva’s local sparkling wine, Baccarat Brut Rosé, before lunch - in a vintage dining room that was like something out of a Merchant Ivory film - as we sailed on Lac Léman. There was even a rainbow that pointed straight to one of the castles on shore as we turned to head back to the city. All the stuff of modern day fairytales and then some. T...
