Sneaking in under the wire to wish all my Canadian friends a Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦 .... with this flashback to one of the coolest parties I’ve ever been to in Canada. It was during #attaELEVATE in Banff with @adventure.travel_ where @travelalberta sponsored an incredible night of oh-so-Canadian activities and yum yums. From fat tire biking in the snow to snowshoeing to a make-your-own spiked hot chocolate bar and a truly incredible @indigenouscanada performance - it was the kind of night that made me wish I was Canadian!! I started visiting the country when I was a very young girl as my family drove from where I was born in Vermont to where my mom’s family lived in Michigan. We usually took the route through Canada instead of the USA and yet it was only recently that I truly began to fall in love with the country in a deep and enduring way. That’s why I’m so grateful to be heading back again this month and next for two different projects. I don’t think I’ll feel done exploring Canada ...
