Even though our ‘Danube Waltz’ trip with @vikingcruises has not been about Christmas Markets specifically, no stop in any town for me was complete without visiting one because there are few things I love more than Christmas in Europe and in particular the holiday markets. The Wiener Christkindlmarkt takes place in the Rathausplatz in front of the Rathaus, aka: Vienna’s Old Town Hall (Altes Rathaus).
