I wanted to return to my recent trip to #Scotland with @dante.vincent to talk more about #Glasgow. In all my visits to the country, I’d never been. This was Danté’s first time as well. And now that we have been, we both want to visit for longer than one night! Still we made the most of our short time, starting here at @glasgowkelvingrove which was recommended to us by @visitscotland. We are so glad they did suggest it because Danté & I love architecture. #Kelvingrove fed that need in spades with its interior halls and its exterior. Inside there are 22 themed galleries that showcase more than 8000 objects from Scotland’s history and from other countries around the world. I particularly enjoyed the Tartan room where we saw a demonstration of how to wrap & then wear a traditional Kilt that was one piece of unaltered wool, held on with only a belt.
