If you talk to anyone who has traveled with me, they’ll tell you I’m a chronic over-packer. ☹️ But I’m trying to be better!! 😊 So for this trip to Scotland, when @barbour gifted me a jacket and two jumpers (aka sweaters), I decided to build a capsule wardrobe around those items to see if I could truly pack light. Short story: I still need to work on this. 😂 But if only I’d known before we left how perfect and comfortable this exact outfit was for exploring Scotland in October, I might have been able to truly stick to one small bag only. So, a note for those of you planning Autumn trips to #Scotland, this outfit consisting of: the #Barbour jacket + jumper, a pair of insulated or lined pants such as my old @kerritseq & completely waterproof/weather-proof high boots such as my well worn @hunterboots wellies - works like a charm. I basically lived in this every day and never wanted for anything else save perhaps a scarf or hat. • What are some of your favorite brands for trips like this?...
