@inverlochycastlehotel. Renown as one of the best castle hotels in all of Scotland, a member of
@relaischateaux and a true “step back in time,” it was a treat to be sure. But I had to almost laugh when, after being left alone to settle in to our elegant room before dinner, we opened the windows to see the most glorious sky and sunset of our entire trip to Scotland. It was as if I could hear Mother Nature audibly wanting to compete with our stunning man made surroundings, to remind us that nothing outshines the natural world. Or perhaps it was because we’d had a string of gray days, rain and a lack of sunshine leading up to this moment, so we were simply unprepared for the scene before us. Who knows.
