We left Monachyle Mhor when it was still dark, intending to get all the way up to the Isle of Skye. Due to some miscalculation with the ferry time table though, we ended up not making it. Our backup plan wasn’t too shabby since it gave us an afternoon and the next morning to explore Glen Coe and Glen Etive. This is a favorite area of #Scotland for @dante.vincent and I both but we’re not alone in that. It’s an area of the Highlands that’s busy all year round. Photographing it without lots of people in your images though just means a little extra work. You can’t park your car in a lot and expect to get a great shot without working for it. You have to hike and walk about a bit to find the right perspective. That’s why I was extra grateful for the jumper and waterproof jacket that @barbour gifted me in advance of the trip and the @hunterboots that I bought a few winters back. It’s taken me many trips to Scotland to figure out just the right clothes to wear so I can explore properly no matt...
