From the Isle of Arran, @dante.vincent & I drove to Monachyle Mhor via Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. I can’t help but pass Loch Lomond without thinking of the oft sung lyrics, “O ye'll tak' the high road, and I'll tak' the low road, And I'll be in Scotland a'fore ye, But me and my true love will never meet again, On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond”... 🎼 Though I’d passed, and stopped at, the Loch before I’d never seen this twisted tree along the banks. Since I do in fact have a true love and he was with me, I thought it would be nice to have him pose for me near said tree. I’m so grateful he has fallen as much in love with @visitscotland as I have. I first came here as a single woman and at that time dreamt of one day having my own “Jamie Fraser” but who needs a dream when you can have the reality of a good man, Scottish or no. Plus, everywhere we have gone all the dogs have fallen in love with him and the wild deer come up to him immediately as if he’s some pie...
