Skipping Glasgow for now to talk about #Outlander! Any fellow fans of the show out there? I’ve been watching it from the beginning and finally got @dante.vincent in to it, binge watching episodes to catch up with the current season. Needless to say, he is hooked! We love all things Scotland so we naturally gravitated to the show. While visiting the Isle of Arran yesterday, we went on a wee hike to the Machrie Moor Standing Stones, Arran’s best known archaeological site. There are multiple circles and many different stones, set all around a plot of land close to the water, gently undulating, featuring old crofts and lots of sheep. It gave us the opportunity to pay homage to @outlander_starz and indulge in the fantasy of dreaming we’d be able to touch the stones to get magically transported a few hundred years into the past.
